Crafts Crafts and MORE crafts!!

I've been looking for some new crafts to get into and through some blog searching I have come across a few I can't wait to try!! The first is a DIY: Ruffly paper Spring wreath! Here It looks pretty affordable to make and fun! You can dress it up or down depending on how fancy or basic you want to go. I can't wait to try it out.

I also found this really cute lampshade idea from Homemaker in heels, also very high up on my to do list asap! These would be super cute in a little girls room or just as a decorative piece in any room. As soon as I have some time to make these I will post some pics!

61 and sunny back to 47 and rainy....

What a Beautiful weekend we had here in the ville, Saturday was gorgeous...like "it can't get better then this" Gorgeous! The sun was out, there was a warm wind blowing and it was 61 degrees outside! I spent part of my saturday on a boudoir session with a friend of mine and the other part at the immediate care center...All in all it was a good day, went by too fast and Ray (DH) had to work OT so that was a bummer. We did get a family outing in later in the day, Bellarmine University had a mens basketball tournament game so we went there..they won!! Go Knights!!

Sunday was also very nice, not as warm..only about 55 or so but the sun was out so we couldn't complain! Church was wonderful as usual and then we set out on a little driving adventure, I of course brought my camera! On our adventure we stumbled upon some bison, very cool to look at and watch! The night ended after Lifegroup at SCC, and of course some down time watching tv with my hubby. If you haven't watch Secret Millionaire or Coming Home then you are missing out. The tears were rolling for me, but good happy tears!! Wonderful things both these shows are doing!

Today is cold (only 47) and rainy to top it off. I'm so happy we had such a nice weekend.

Monday Mornings

Today is Sunday, not Monday I know but I am vowing to blog from now on. I'm only making it a Monday morning priority and this is because I will no longer be working at Panera on Mondays! My next few months are filling up and I couldn't be more excited! Have I mentioned I LOVE photography!

This blog will not always be about photography, although often times it will be. I want it to be a life journal for me. I want to be able to share what's going on in my world, the good and the bad. I can't take photos every day (ok does on my phone count??) haha, but I would if I could! My dream one day is to have a studio of my own, I'm sure that's further down the road then I want right now..but I know it's around the bend and I will get there!

My Izzy just celebrated her 4th Birthday last weekend, she had a Tinkerbell party and few friends over, it was a really great day for us all. To top it off her Nana (Ray's Mom), surprised us all and came to celebrate for a few hours!!

Labor Day

What Gorgeous weather we have been having here in the 'Ville. It was a little warmer today then it has been but not awful. We spent the morning around the house, had some delicious sausage gravy and biscuits and just hung out for awhile. The hubby had to work so we decided if we were going to do anything it had to be early in the day. We took off in the van to go get his hair cut...forgetting that most place like that are closed today. Circled around the city in the van, then decided to just go get some lunch down on the river at Tumbleweed. The best part is the outdoor seating, which was totally full... When we got there it was PACKED, we knew it would be. SO they gave us our little blinker thingy and we took off to walk around where the boats dock. I love the photos I got today, and the new Bella Actions I purchased from Pamella Topping!!

My newest project!

I love junk, I mean I LOVE junk... My husband may not be too fond of it, and our poor garage! I guess that's why my new fav tv show is American Pickers. My heart just races when I'm driving, or walking and I find a piece! The newest addition to our house hold is a dresser (or something) I found up North. When we vacationed a few weeks ago to Massachusetts (Cape Cod) to visit Ray's family. I have been working on it for the last few days, first I sanded it down and then yesterday I started painting. I'm hoping this weekend to have enough paint on it to start distressing (My favorite part). To find something that's old, and to make it new again just puts a huge smile on my face! I totally forgot to take a before picture of it, but so far I think it looks pretty good! All the details are really starting to pop with the white paint!.
